CAT 2024 Notification: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta has released the Common Admission Test notification. The CAT notification has been released on IIM Calcutta's official handles. According to the notification, the CAT 2024 examination will be conducted on November 24, 2024, in three sessions. The examination will be conducted in test centres spread across 170 test cities. Students will be allowed to select any five test cities in order of their preference. The list of cities may be subject to changes based on the decisions of the CAT authorities.

CAT 2024 registration will begin at 10 am on August 1, 2024 and conclude on September 13, 2024. The registration window will be available at the official IIM CAT website at iimcat.ac.in. Students are advised to maintain a valid email account and a mobile phone number throughout the selection process.

"CAT 2024 is a prerequisite for admission to various Post Graduate and Fellow/Doctorate programmes of IIMs. CAT 2024 scores are allowed to be used by listed non-lIM member institutions. A list of such institutions is provided on the CAT website. IlMs have no role in the selection process of non-IIM institutions," the notification reads.

"Applicants must note that mere fulfillment of the minimum eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for shortlisting by IIMs," the notification adds.
