IIIT Hyderabad Launches New Masters Programme In Computer Sciences To Mark Its 25th Anniversary

At present, the two-year Masters Programme will be offered with just one sepcialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Marking its anniversary, the premier institute has launched an online Masters programme in Computer Science, in collaboration with TalentSprint, a leading EdTech firm. Admissions into the Online Masters programme would be available to candidates even without a GATE score. At present though, the programme will be available with one specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

The online Master's programme’s virtual platform is aimed at catering to early career professionals with at least one year of industry experience. Designed with the schedule of working professionals in mind, the curriculum of the programme will be curated by IIIT Hyderabad's esteemed faculty and industry experts. Candidates enrolled in the programme will also be able to engage in live interactive sessions with instructors for quick clarification of doubts and a seamless learning experience. 

With practical applications at the core of the programmes, students will also be required to  work on industry-relevant projects, allowing them valuable hands-on experience to enhance their employability. Upon the completion of the programme, candidates will receive certification from the prestigious IIIT Hyderabad, and also become part of the IIIT Hyderabad alumni network with access to all alumni privileges.

Launch of Online Masters programme underscores our commitment to providing an engaging and immersive learning experience that will equip working professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in a fast-paced and ever-changing tech landscape," was quoted as saying by news agency PTI. 

“Our commitment to nurturing tech talent aligns perfectly with IIIT Hyderabad's legacy of excellence,” Santanu Paul, Founding CEO and MD of TalentSprint was further reported as saying on the launch of the new Masters programme.

Notably, the IIIT Hyderabad is one of the most prestigious institutions in the country offering higher education and research in the field of information technology and computer sciences. The premier institute is one of India’s foremost institutions providing cutting-edge research in AI, which has also been recognised globally.
