The Indian Institute of Science (IISc Bangalore) is set to close the application window for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024, today, October 20, 2023. Eligible candidates who wish to apply for the GATE 2024 exam can complete and submit their applications with a late fee, until midnight at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The GATE 2024 examination is scheduled for February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. IISc Bangalore will open the GATE 2024 correction facility on November 7, 2023,  allowing candidates to make necessary changes to their registration forms. This correction window will remain open until November 11, 2023. It's important to note that only specific sections within the application form will be eligible for editing during this period. Here is the list of the sections that candidates can modify during the form correction window.

During the GATE 2024 form correction window, candidates will have the option to edit the following sections in their application:

• Exam Center
• Category
• Gender
• Exam Paper
• Details of Parents/Guardian/Correspondence address
• College name and location, Roll number, Registration number
• PwD (Persons with Disabilities) status
• Dyslexia and other similar learning disabilities

• On the homepage, locate and click on the link to apply for GATE 2024.
• Register online by providing the required information and fill out the application form.
• Upload the relevant documents and pay the application fee online through the provided payment gateway.
• After completing all the necessary steps, review your application form for accuracy.
• Once you are satisfied with the information provided, submit the application form.
• After successful submission, download the application confirmation page for your reference.

GATE 2024 Application Correction Window: How To Make Corrections?

To make edits to the GATE 2024 registration form, candidates should follow these steps:

1. Log in through the GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System) portal.

2. Log in to edit the application form. 

3. For certain sections like Gender and Category, candidates may be required to pay an additional fee, if changes are needed.

4. When changing documents, it is recommended to ensure that the format and dimensions of the uploaded files meet the specified requirements.
