UP NMMS Scholarship 2023 Application Window Opens On August 23 - Check Details

Candidates shortlisted for the UP NMMS Scholarship 2023 will receive financial aid of Rs 12,000 per annum from Class 9 to 12.

The Exam Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh, will start accepting applications for the Uttar Pradesh National Merit Cum Means Scholarship 2023 from August 23 onwards. Once the application process begins, interested candidates will be able to submit their UP NMMS Scholarship 2023 applications on the official website - entdata.co.in. Notably, started in 2008, the NMMS is a sc scholarship programme which aims to provide financial assistance of Rs 12,000 per annum to meritorious candidates screened through the scholarship test. Students who are presently studying in Class 8 shall be eligible to apply for the scholarship. 

While the official website of the UP NMMS Scholarship 2023 is not fully active and is under maintenance, students can visit the official website and keep track with the ‘Whatsapp Updates’ button provided there. The exam regulatory authority is also expected to announce the dates of the UP NMMS Scholarship Test 2023, once the application process for UP NMMS Scholarship 2023 begins. 

To avail of the scholarship though, candidates must also note that their family income should not exceed 3.5 lakhs per annum. Moreover, General category applicants from the must have scored a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in class 7, while candidates form the reserved category should have scored at least 50% in class 7. 

Candidates applying for the scholarship will be required to appear for the scholarship entrance test which shall comprise two papers: Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Each of the exam papers shall consist of 90 questions and students will be allowed a maximum time of 90 minutes to answer all questions in each paper.
