The milk prices have been hiked due to a rise in the input cost over the last 15 months, as per a PTI report.
Increase in the prices of milk by th two dairy companies comes just after the completion of seven-phase voting for the Lok Sabha polls.
In a statement, Mother Dairy said it is "increasing its liquid milk prices by Rs 2 per litre across all operating markets from June 03, 2024 onwards."
