MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

Sadar Bazar Assembly Constituency Wards*

In the Sadar Bazar Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of three wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the three wards of the Sadar Bazar assembly constituency are Shastri Nagar, Kishan Ganj and Sadar Bazar.

1. Shastri Nagar: In the Sadar Bazar Delhi assembly constituency, Shastri Nagar is ward number seventy in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 78,483. The Shastri Nagar (Ward 70) MCD seat is unreserved.

2. Kishan Ganj: In the Sadar Bazar Delhi assembly constituency, Kishan Ganj is ward number seventy-one in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 74,022. The Kishan Ganj (Ward 71) MCD seat is reserved for Scheduled Caste women.

3. Sadar Bazar: In the Sadar Bazar Delhi assembly constituency, Sadar Bazar is ward number seventy-two in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 66,050. The Sadar Bazar (Ward 72) MCD seat is reserved for women.
