MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the R K Puram Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of three wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the three wards of the R K Puram assembly constituency are Munirka, R.K. Puram, and Vasant Vihar.

1. Munirka: In the R K Puram Delhi assembly constituency, Munirka is ward number one hundred-and-fifty-one in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 64,543. The Munirka (Ward 151) MCD seat is reserved for women.

2. R.K. Puram: In the R K Puram Delhi assembly constituency, R.K. Puram is ward number one hundred-and-fifty-two in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 54,347. The R.K. Puram (Ward 152) MCD seat is unreserved.

3. Vasant Vihar: In the R K Puram Delhi assembly constituency, Vasant Vihar is ward number one hundred-and-fifty-three in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 55,960. The Vasant Vihar (Ward 153) MCD seat is reserved for women.
