Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Matiala Assembly Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

Matiala Assembly Constituency Wards*

In the Matiala Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of six wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the six wards of the Matiala assembly constituency are Dwarka-b, Dwarka-a, Matiala, Kakrola, Nangli Sakrawati, and Chhawala.

1. Dwarka-b: In the Matiala Delhi assembly constituency, Dwarka-b is ward number one hundred-and-twenty in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 62,971. The Dwarka-b (Ward 120) MCD seat is reserved for women.

2. Dwarka-a: In the Matiala Delhi assembly constituency, Dwarka-a is ward number one hundred-and-twenty-one in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 73,208. The Dwarka-a (Ward 121) MCD seat is unreserved.

3. Matiala: In the Matiala Delhi assembly constituency, Matiala is ward number one hundred-and-twenty-two in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 54,631. The Matiala (Ward 122) MCD seat is reserved for women.

4. Kakrola: In the Matiala Delhi assembly constituency, Kakrola is ward number one hundred-and-twenty-three in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 65,930. The Kakrola (Ward 123) MCD seat is unreserved.

5. Nangli Sakrawati: In the Matiala Delhi assembly constituency, Nangli Sakrawati is ward number one hundred-and-twenty-four in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 83,159. The Nangli Sakrawati (Ward 124) MCD seat is reserved for women.

6. Chhawala: In the Matiala Delhi assembly constituency, Chhawala is ward number one hundred-and-twenty-five in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 81,500. The Chhawala (Ward 125) MCD seat is unreserved.
