Amusement Park Trip Turns Fatal As Woman Falls Off Roller Coaster In Delhi
The victim, identified as Priyanka, had gone to an amusement park in Delhi's Kapashera. A case has been filed for negligent conduct with respect to machinery and causing death by negligence.

A 24-year-old woman died after she fell from a swing at an amusement park in Delhi. The victim, identified as Priyanka, had gone to an amusement park in Southwest Delhi's Kapashera on Thursday.
She lived with her family in Chanakyapuri. After she fell from the swing, she was rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead on arrival.
The police received information about the incident from the hospital, following which the investigating officer collected her medical documents. It was revealed that she had lacerated wounds on her right leg, puncture wounds on her left leg, and multiple scratches on her left knee and right forearm, Times Of India reported.
According to Nikhil's statement, who was with Priyanka at the time of the incident, he and Priyanka visited the amusement park and rode the roller coaster around 6:15 PM. He said that when the ride started, Priyanka fell off, the report said.
The police registered a case under sections 289 (negligent conduct with respect to machinery) and 106 (causing death by negligence) of the BNS.
The body was handed over to Priyanka's family after conducting a post-mortem.

Noida Woman Dies After Falling Off Ferris Wheel
A 55-year-old woman died allegedly after falling off a Ferris wheel (giant wheel) installed at a fair ground in Noida. Her daughter-in-law and grandson suffered injuries in the incident.
Two people, including the organiser of the fair and the wheel operator, were taken into police custody, police officials told PTI.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Noida) Shakit Mohan Avasthy said the incident took place at the Som Bazar Mela in Sector 44, under Sector 39 police station limits in November 2023.
"The fair has been organised here traditionally. On Wednesday, two women got severely injured while coming down from the amusement ride. A child who was along with them also suffered some injuries," Avasthy said.
"The women were taken to a hospital where Usha, 55, died during treatment while her daughter in law Shalu is undergoing treatment but is in a stable condition," the officer said.
An FIR was lodged under IPC section 304 and 325 in the case.
