Devastating Fire At Ajmer Hotel Kills Four, Woman Hurls Child Out Of Window For Safety

Ajmer fire: Four people died and five, including a child, were injured in a massive fire at Hotel Naaz in Diggi Bazaar, Ajmer, Rajasthan. The fire, believed to have been caused by a short circuit, caused panic among the guests. Rescue efforts were hampered by the narrow lanes, but firefighters and police managed to bring the situation under control.

Anil Samaria, principal of JLN Medical College, said, "A fire broke out in a hotel in the Diggi Bazaar area this morning. The police team is on the spot. Four people, including two men, a woman and a child, have died from suffocation and burns."

Additional Superintendent of Police Himanshu Jangid said, "Rescue operations are being hampered due to the narrow access to the hotel. Initially, the fire appears to have been caused by a short circuit."

A guest at the hotel said they heard an explosion and fled. Mangila Kalossia, who was staying at the hotel, said, "A woman threw her child into my arms from the window. She also tried to jump from the building, but people stopped her. He also mentioned that a man jumped from the window and sustained head injuries."

The fire at Hotel Naaz in Ajmer caused panic among the hotel guests. Some ran out of the hotel to look for safety, others jumped from their rooms to save their lives.
