Light Rain In Lucknow After Soaring Summer Temperatures. IMD Forecasts More Spells Today & Tomorrow

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh experienced light rainfall, providing relief from the heatwave. The IMD forecasts partly cloudy skies with occasional showers for the next three days.

Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow on Thursday received spell of light rain bringing relief from intense heatwave.

Earlier, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers in the city fo today and tomorrow.

As per the weather bureau, the maximum and the minimum temperatures in the city for today will be around 38 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius respectively.

For April 11, the maximum and the minimum temperatures in the city will be around 37 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius respectively. The IMD also said that the sky will remain partly cloudy on April 12.

Rain In Kanpur

Apart from Lucknow, Kanpur also received fresh spell of rainfall bringing relief from soaring temperature.

What IMD Said About UP's Weather?

According to the IMD, several districts in both the western and eastern regions of the state are expected to get rain and light showers on Thursday.

The rain spell is expected to continue for the next two to three days, which may provide some relief from the heat. However, the relief will likely be short-lived, cautioned weather experts. After April 13, the weather will once again become dry and hot.

According to the IMD, light rain is likely in parts of western UP on Thursday, accompanied by thunder and lightning, along with strong surface winds blowing at a speed of 20-30 km per hour. Similar weather conditions are expected in the eastern region. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning in some areas.

Strong gusty winds may cause inconvenience to people. Rain with thunderstorms and gusty winds are also likely in several districts on Friday and Saturday.
