A 27-year-old man has been arrested in Saharanpur for allegedly recording and sharing an objectionable video involving a poster of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on social media.
In the video shared on the occasion of Karwa Chauth, the man is seen looking at the former chief minister's poster through a sieve, blowing a kiss and offering it water. After the video went viral, several members of the BSP and internet users objected to the video and sought an FIR in the matter.
