7-Year-Old Among Three Killed In House Fire In Telangana's Rangareddy
A fire in a Puppalguda house killed three family members, including a 7-year-old girl, due to asphyxiation. Five others were rescued from the second floor.

Three members of a family, including a seven-year-old girl, died of asphyxiation after a fire broke out in a house in Telangana's Puppalguda on Friday evening, police said.
As per the information, the deceased have been identified Sijira Khatoon (30), Jameela Khatoon (65), and Sahana Khatoon (7).
According to police, those who died were on the first floor of the building, while five others who were rescued were on the second floor when the fire broke out.
The incident occurred around 5.45 PM in a house owned by a kirana shop owner in Pasha Colony, Puppalaguda, Rangareddy, under Narsingi police station limits. Among those rescued, two sustained fracture injuries and are currently under treatment at the Osmania General Hospital.
The police said that the three deceased, who were found in a room, died due to suffocation, and added that a total of eight members were in the building when the fire accident occurred. Police suspect that an electrical short-circuit in the kirana store on the ground floor may have sparked the fire, which led to the explosion of three gas cylinders as well, though the fire has now been completely brought under control, they added. However, the exact cause is still being probed and further investigation is underway, an official added.
