SUV Rams Man In Noida, Throws Him In Drain As Instagram Fight Turns Deadly: Video

The confrontation began with an exchange of hostile comments on Instagram between two parties known to each other, according to police.

Noida Viral Video: A shocking incident of road rage has come to light in Noida Sector 53. A man was deliberately hit by a Mahindra Thar in what police say was the culmination of an online dispute. The chilling act, captured on video and widely shared on social media, has reignited fears over escalating street violence.

The confrontation began with an exchange of hostile comments on Instagram between two parties known to each other, according to police. The situation quickly escalated into a violent face-off on the streets of Sector 53.

"There was a dispute between the two parties under the police station Sector-24 area regarding comments on the social media platform. Both sides are familiar with each other," confirmed Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Sumit Kumar Shukla.

What began as a war of words soon spiralled into physical aggression. Eyewitnesses recounted that during the confrontation, the driver of the Thar suddenly revved the engine and rammed the SUV into the victim, sending him flying into a roadside drain.

SUV Driver on the Run, Police Launch Manhunt

The driver fled the scene immediately after the impact, leaving the victim bleeding and motionless in the drain. Authorities responded swiftly by registering a case under sections related to rash driving, causing hurt, and criminal intimidation.

“Police team has been formed for the arrest of the accused, registering the prosecution under the relevant sections by the police station Sector-24,” said ADCP Shukla.

A Special Investigation Team has been tasked with identifying and capturing the absconding driver. Officials are also examining the viral video footage, which clearly shows the moment of impact and the ensuing panic among bystanders.

Online Outrage, Public Demands Justice

The video of the incident has sparked a massive uproar on social media, with citizens demanding urgent action and harsher penalties for reckless and violent behaviour on public roads. The disturbing footage has served as a grim reminder of how digital hostilities can erupt into dangerous, real-life confrontations.

As the investigation intensifies, the city remains gripped by the sheer brutality of the act. The incident has once again raised questions about rising aggression among youth, the lack of conflict resolution mechanisms, and the urgent need for stronger deterrents against road violence.
