Sun Rays Light Up Ram Lalla's Idol At Ayodhya Temple On Ram Navami: Watch

On the auspicious Ram Navami, the sun rays illuminated the forehead of Ram Lalla's idol at Ayodhya's Ram Temple, forming a divine celestial 'Surya Tilak' precisely at noon.

Sun rays lit up the forehead of Ram Lalla's idol at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on the auspicious day of Ram Navami on Sunday.

The 'Surya Tilak' takes place at exactly 12 noon on Ram Navami where a beam of sunlight is precisely directed onto the forehead of the idol of Ram Lalla, forming a divine celestial tilak.

The festival of Ram Navami is being celebrated across the country on Sunday with special arrangements made for devotees visiting the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

The Uttar Pradesh government has also planned to light more than two lakh diyas in the holy Hindu town, the birthplace of Lord Ram.

Security arrangements have also been made by the police and administration to ensure law and order.

Inspector General of Police, Ayodhya range, Praveen Kumar said the city has been classified into different zones and sectors, reported PTI. Heavy vehicles have been diverted to the Purvanchal Expressway to ensure no inconvenience to the pilgrims.

Kumar said alternative arrangements similar to those made during the Maha Kumbh are in place.

"Paramilitary forces, along with PAC and civil police, will be deployed for security. Meanwhile, NDRF, SDRF and water police are also on alert around the Saryu River,” the IG said.

PM Modi Witnesses Ram Setu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared an aerial view of the Ram Setu site while returning from his two-day Sri Lanka visit. Sharing a video on X, Modi called it a "divine coincidence that he witnessed the Ram Setu when Surya Tilak took place at Ayodhya Ram Temple.

"On the way back from Sri Lanka a short while ago, was blessed to have a Darshan of the Ram Setu. And, as a divine coincidence, it happened at the same time as the Surya Tilak was taking place in Ayodhya," Modi said in his X post.

"Blessed to have the Darshan of both. Prabhu Shri Ram is a uniting force for all of us. May His blessings always remain upon us," he added.
