Rajasthan: 12 Killed, 32 Injured After Bus Rams Into Culvert In Sikar, CM Sharma Expresses Condolences
The bus was coming from Salasar to Laxmangarh when it rammed into a part of the flyover while taking a turn. The injured have been taken to hospitals in Laxmangarh and Sikar for treatment.
Rajasthan Bus Accident: At least 12 people died and 32 others were injured in a bus accident in Rajasthan's Sikar. The accident occurred on Tuesday, October 29, when the a private bus crashed into the wing wall of a flyover in the district. The injured have been taken to hospitals in Laxmangarh and Sikar for treatment. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma expressed condolences over the loss of life in the bus accident.
The bus was coming from Salasar to Laxmangarh when it rammed into a part of the flyover in Laxmangarh while taking a turn, District Superintendent of Police Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav told news agency PTI.

According to Superintendent, SK Hospital, Sikar, Mahendra Khichad, seven people had died in Laxmangarh, while five others died while receiving treatment.
"12 people have lost their lives. 7 people died in Laxmangarh. 5 people lost their lives while receiving treatment in the hospital out of 37 patients who were admitted to the hospital," he said.

"The loss of life in the bus accident in Sikar's Laxmangarh area is extremely sad and heartbreaking. My deepest condolences are with the bereaved families of the deceased. The concerned officials have been directed to ensure proper treatment of the injured," Rajasthan CM Bhajanlal Sharma tweeted.

In another similar incident which took place in Rajasthan, 12 people were killed after a bus collided with a tempo in Dholpur near Sunipur on the National Highway. The passengers were returning from a pre-wedding event when the bus they were travelling in collided with a tempo on October 20.
The deceased included five boys, three girls, two men, and one man. Prime Minister had announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund for the next of kin of each victim.
