Two Men Thrown Into Air After Speeding Car Slams Bike On Mumbai-Pune Highway — On Cam
Police have launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident and ensure accountability for the sedan driver involved in the collision
Two people were severely injured after a speeding car collided with their bike on the busy Mumbai-Pune highway in the Wakad area of Pune. The tragic incident captured on a dash cam of another car has gone viral on social media.
The viral video shows, that a black sedan, apparently being driven recklessly, suddenly collided with a bike from the back, resulting in both men being thrown into the air. The impact was so strong that the biker and the pillion rider were thrown several feet away after flying into the air.

The injured individuals managed to get up and sought refuge on the road divider while bystanders gathered to check on their condition. They were soon transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The accident occurred near Tip-Top International Hotel in the Wakad area of Pune.
Meanwhile, a case has been filed against the accused driver at Hinjawadi Police Station. Authorities have initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause of the accident and ensure accountability for the sedan driver involved in the collision, according to a report by News18.
Car Collides With Container On Ajmer Highway As Driver Falls Asleep
In a separate incident, an accident took place on Thursday morning (February 20) on the Ajmer-Bhilwara National Highway (NH-79) in the Bhilwara district of Rajasthan after a speeding Swift car collided with a container ahead. During the incident, a Mahant inside the vehicle died immediately and the driver sustained serious injuries. And, the container driver fled the scene.
Reacting to the incident, Head Constable, Hanuman Prasad, of Mandal police station stated that the accident took place around 9:30 AM near Raisinghpura. The Swift car, traveling from Jaisalmer to Mandsaur, was being driven by Ashok (son of Hemraj Vaishnav, resident of Jaisalmer), who dozed off at the wheel, causing the vehicle to crash into the container. The impact was so severe that the car was completely wrecked. Mahant Brahmpuri, also known as Gopal Gupta, aged 63, lost his life on the spot.
Upon receiving information, the Mandal police reached the site and took possession of the body, which was sent to the sub-district hospital. The injured driver, Ashok, remains in critical condition and has been admitted for treatment. Meanwhile, the body has been placed in the mortuary, and the family has been informed. The post-mortem will be conducted once the relatives arrive.
