Paan Singh Tomar's Granddaughter Assaults Power Dept Official
Sapna Tomar, the teenage granddaughter of Paan Singh Tomar, objected to the installation and got into a physical altercation with the official.

Sapna Tomar, the teenage granddaughter of former soldier and infamous Chambal rebel Paan Singh Tomar, has been booked for allegedly assaulting a power department official during a smart meter installation drive in Punjabi Colony, Jhansi.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when junior engineer Vaibhav Rawat from the rural power distribution division was replacing electricity meters as part of a smart meter rollout. Accompanied by a team, Rawat reached the residence of ex-serviceman Shivram Singh Tomar, where the situation reportedly turned hostile.
According to Babina police station SHO Tulsi Ram Pandey, Sapna Tomar objected to the installation and got into a physical altercation with the official. “When the team attempted to replace the meter, Sapna opposed the move and allegedly attacked the engineer," he said.
Sapna Tomar Not Arrested Yet
Following the incident, a police complaint was filed and Sapna Tomar has been booked under relevant sections of the law for assaulting a public servant on duty. No arrest has been reported yet.
The matter has raised concerns about the safety of government workers involved in public utility upgrades. The police are continuing their investigation.
