In a bizarre incident that has sparked widespread discussion on road safety, a woman in Bengaluru was fined by the traffic police for using a laptop while driving. The incident, which occurred within the RT Nagar traffic limits, came to light after a video of the woman multitasking behind the wheel went viral on social media.

The clip also captured the license plate of her car, enabling the police to identify and track her down. The Bengaluru Traffic Police acted swiftly, fining her Rs 1,000 for reckless driving and issuing a stern warning.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic, North Division) took to social media platform X to share the incident, captioning the post, “Work from home, not from car while driving.” The police have multiple times emphasised the dangers of distracted driving and urged citizens to prioritize safety on the roads.
