Man Found Dead With Slit Mark On Neck In UP's Hapur, Police Launch Probe

Hapur SP Kunwar Gyananjay Singh said that the man left his residence at night while speaking to someone on the phone. Later, his body was found near the Amar Vihar Colony.

A man was found dead with slit mark on his neck in UP's Hapur on Sunday morning.

A man was found dead near Anand Vihar colony in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday morning. Police have launched a probe into the incident and a First Information Report has been registered. Police andForensics teams are present on the spot where the body was discovered. 

The deceased, identified as Ankit Kumar, was murdered using a sharp weapon, police said. The police found his body with a slit on his throat.

Hapur SP Kunwar Gyananjay Singh said that Kumar left his residence at night while speaking to someone on the phone. Later, his body was found near the Amar Vihar Colony.

"The deceased is a man called Ankit Kumar. He left from his residence at night while speaking on the phone. His body was found here today. A cut with a sharp weapon was found on his neck. Forensics team is on the spot, SWAT team has also been called. Action is being taken after the registration of FIR. Case will be solved soon,"the SP said.
