Eknath Khadse Reacts
The incident has sparked political reactions, with Eknath Khadse, currently a leader with the opposition NCP (Sharad Pawar faction)—demanding an investigation into whether there was a political motive behind the police action. His daughter, Rohini Khadse, is the state president of the NCP (SP) women’s wing.
Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (UBT) deputy leader Sushma Andhare commented that the raid may be seen as a warning to those voicing criticism against the current government.
The detained individuals are currently under investigation, and further legal proceedings are expected in the coming days. No official statement has been released yet regarding the specific charges to be applied.
The case continues to draw attention given the political affiliations of those involved, with opposition leaders questioning the timing and intent of the enforcement action.
