Over 63 Crore Devotees Take Holy Dip At Sangam In 43 Days, Last Snan Tomorrow
The Maha Kumbh Mela, a 45-day spiritual festival, has drawn a record number of over 63 crore devotees to the Sangam in Prayagraj.

The 45-day spiritual Maha Kumbh which commenced on January 13 is witnessing a record gathering of devotees taking dip at the Sangam -- the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and the mythical Saraswati rivers.

As per the details, over 63 crore pilgrims have taken a dip at the Sangam till February 24 on the occasion of the Maha Kumbh Mela. On February 24, till 8 PM, about 1.30 crore devotees took the holy dip.

With two more days left for the Maha Kumbh to end, the city of Prayagraj has been witnessing a huge rush of devotees.

Three significant snans have been completed on Makar Sankranti, Mauni Amavasya, and Basant Panchmi. The final snan will take place on the occasion of Maha Shivratri.
Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh government cancelled the board examinations scheduled for February 24 in Prayagraj due to the ongoing Maha Kumbh. The exam, which was scheduled for February 24, will now take place on March 9 after the conclusion of the Mahakumbh, a directive of the UP government said. The decision to cancel the exam was made in view of the huge crowd expected on February 26 for Mahashivratri Snan in Prayagraj.
