MP CM Mohan Yadav’s Father-In-Law Passes Away At 98

Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav’s father-in-law Brahmadeen Yadav dies at 98 in UP after health complications; last rites to be held in Rewa, with CM and wife returning from abroad to attend.

Sultanpur (UP), Jul 16 (PTI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav's father-in-law died in Uttar Pradesh's Sultanpur district at the age of 98, the family said on Wednesday.

Brahmadeen Yadav breathed his last at his son Vivekanand Yadav's residence in Sultanpur's Vivekanand Nagar area late on Tuesday night. His mortal remains were sent to Rewa, where the last rites will be performed on Wednesday.

Vivekanand Yadav said his father's health began to deteriorate on the night of June 27. He was admitted to the ICU of the Government Medical College due to respiratory and abdominal issues.

The Madhya Pradesh chief minister's wife, Seema Yadav, Brahmadeen Yadav's only daughter, visited him on June 28. He was discharged from the hospital on June 30 after some improvement.

However, on Tuesday, his condition suddenly worsened, and he passed away before the family could get him to the hospital, Vivekanand Yadav said.

Brahmadeen Yadav is survived by three sons and one daughter. His daughter Seema married Mohan Yadav in Ujjain in 1994. The family hails from Kodra Dadwa village in Bhiti tehsil of Ambedkar Nagar district in Uttar Pradesh.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and his wife Seema Yadav are currently on an overseas tour but have been informed of the demise. They are expected to attend the last rites, according to the family members here.
