Lucknow Police Issue Traffic Advisory Ahead Of LSG Vs RCB IPL Match, Check Here

LSG Vs RCB IPL 2025 Match: Commercial vehicles are banned on Shaheed Path, with diversions in place. Auto-rickshaws are prohibited. Stadium entry opens three hours early, closing after the second innings starts.

The Police Commissionerate, Lucknow has issued a traffic advisory ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the city's Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. 

The clash between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is set to being at 7:30 pm and the advisory will remain in effect till midnight. 

"In view of the IPL match at Ekana Stadium on 27.05.2025, the following traffic arrangement will remain in force till the match ends at 12.00 midnight," said the Lucknow police in a post on X. 

Lucknow Traffic Advisory 

  • Movement of commercial vehicles including buses and trucks will be prohibited on Shaheed Path and surrounding roads during the match hours. 
  • Vehicles approaching from Sultanpur Road will not be allowed to proceed towards the stadium and will be diverted at Amalut Tiraha. 
  • Movement of auto-rickshaws and e-rickshaws has been completely prohibited from Shaheed Path. 
  • Commuters approaching from PGI/Arjungarh side will have to drop passengers at Ahimamau, while those from Sultanpur side should turn back near PGI of Lulu Mall, depending on approach direction. 
  • App-based cabs like Ola, Uber etc will be permitted only up to Ahimamau or PGI. The cabs need to exit the area immediately after drop-off. 
  • Two-wheelers and those without passes must park at Phoenix Mall. Two-wheelers will not be allowed in the restricted zone. 

Entry Rules For Match

  • Entry gates for the stadium will open three hours before the match start and no entry will be permitted after the second innings begin.
  • Only original tickets with QR codes or valid mobile tickets will be accepted at the gates. No tickets will be sold at the stadium on match day.  
  • Spectators have been urged to arrive before 6 pm to avoid traffic congestion between 6 pm and 8 pm.
