'Indians Must Rise As One': VP Dhankhar At 37th BIMTECH Convocation, Urges To Prioritise Duties Over Rights

VP Jagdeep Dhankhar urged graduates at the convocation ceremony to place their duties over fundamental rights, especially when "our country has been challenged in Pahalgam."

Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) on Monday hosted its 37th Annual Convocation at the India Exposition Mart Ltd, Greater Noida. The graduation ceremony was virtually graced by Vice-President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar.

Addressing the gathering, Jagdeep Dhankhar, shared a strong message of national unity, resilience, and visionary leadership in the face of internal and external challenges as he urged graduates to place their duties over fundamental rights.

Highlighting the situation after the recent Pahalgam terror attack, Dhankhar said: "Our country has been challenged in Pahalgam. The greatest assurance we have at the moment is our visionary leadership. But we as Indians must rise as one person. Forces inimical to Bharat within and without have to be neutralized.
