IIT Kharagpur To Host Spring Fest 2025 From January 24. Details Here

The Spring Fest has gained its repute for hosting luminaries across fields, including personalities like Salim-Sulaiman, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Shaan. 

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur is all set to host Spring Fest 2025, one of India's largest student-organized cultural festivals, from January 24.

The grand social and cultural fest, scheduled from January 24 to January 26, brings an extraordinary combination of culture, creativity, and transformative change. The fest, started in 1960, attracts youth from all over the country and receives a footfall of around 65,000.

The year's theme “Magical Masquerade: A Realm of Mystical Revelry” aims to evoke an enchanting blend of magic, mystery, and artistic brilliance, while the social theme, “Unnati: Lighting Paths, Lifting Voices,” plans to highlight the festival's dedication to societal empowerment and meaningful change.

This year, the fest offers an eclectic mix of performances, workshops, and thought-leadership sessions designed to inspire and engage. It will feature a rich array of competitions across music, dance, drama, literature, and more, providing a stage for diverse talents. 

Some of the new additions this year include innovative contests like Spotlight competition. Meanwhile, the attendees can also look forward to workshops and exhibitions blending cutting-edge technology with creative exploration, as well as electrifying performances.

In alignment with its social theme, Spring Fest 2025 will also address critical societal issues, including women’s empowerment, adolescent health, and education. The initiative will include interactive campaigns, discussions, and activities to drive awareness and action. 

The fest will focus on actionable outcomes that aim to a create lasting impact and inspire attendees to contribute towards a better society. Additionally, environmental sustainability will play a key role, with green initiatives woven into various activities to emphasize the importance of preserving our planet.
