High-Speed SUV Rams Into Restaurant In Gujarat, 3 Injured — On Cam

Sources indicated that the owners of the restaurant didn't file the police complaint as it was in operation with the permissions.

A high-speed SUV entered a restaurant in the Chhota Udaipur district of Gujarat on Tuesday ramming tables and injuring three people. The incident erupted while customers in the restaurant were enjoying a meal.

CCTV footage from a restaurant in Bodeli captured a startling incident where people were enjoying their meals when a car abruptly drove into the establishment, honking persistently, with its headlights shining through the cloth walls.

One customer, seated at the table closest to the oncoming SUV and talking on the phone, displayed quick reflexes, managing to dodge the vehicle at the very last moment. However, two others at a nearby table were not as fortunate. The footage shows the SUV hitting the two men before seemingly continuing on its path.

According to a report by NDTV, police officials confirmed that three people were injured and no case has been registered. Sources indicated that the owners of the restaurant didn't file the police complaint as it was in operation with the permissions. People who suffered a minor injury also showed no interest in filing a police case.

SUV Rams Into 3 Vehicles On Pune Mumbai Highway

In a separate incident, four people were injured, and three vehicles were damaged when a speeding SUV crashed into them at a traffic signal on the Pune-Mumbai Highway in Chinchwad on Sunday afternoon (December 2). Police have registered a case against a 25-year-old IT professional who was driving the vehicle.

The incident took place around 3:45 pm at Mahavir Chowk in Chinchwad. The driver of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV, identified as Divya Shrivastava, an IT professional based in Pune, was arrested by the police. Authorities stated that Shrivastava immediately took the injured to the hospital after the accident.

“Probe suggests that some vehicles had halted at the signal at Mahavir Chowk. Shrivastava could not control the vehicle and rammed into a car and a bike. The car hit and rammed into another bike. Four persons on two bikes fell down and sustained serious injuries. The driver of the SUV took the injured persons to nearby hospitals in rickshaws. All four injured are currently being treated,” said an officer from Pimpri police station, India Express reported.
