14-Year-Old Jogger Critical After Being Hit By Speeding Jaguar In Greater Noida, Driver Arrested

A 14-year-old boy is in critical condition after being hit by a speeding Jaguar while jogging on a service road in Greater Noida. The driver, who fled the scene, has since been arrested, and the vehicle seized.
The incident occurred around 6 am on Thursday near Stellar Jeevan Society in Sector 1 of Greater Noida West. Neeraj, 14, was on his morning run when the Jaguar hit him from behind, causing severe head and chest injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where his condition remains critical, according to NDTV.
Neeraj's father, a businessman, shared that the teenager is not only a student but also works as a web developer.
Officials from the Birsakh police station confirmed that a case was registered based on the father's complaint. “The boy was hit by a vehicle around 6 am on Thursday morning, near Stellar Jeevan Society. The boy sustained serious injuries and was immediately admitted to the hospital. The accused driver and the vehicle have been taken into custody, and the car has been seized,” police said, as reported by India Today.

Physically Disabled Man Beaten To Death In Noida
In a separate incident, a 24-year-old man with a physical disability was allegedly beaten to death in Cholas village, under the Jarcha police station area of Noida.
Additional Deputy Police Commissioner Zone II, Ashok Kumar Singh, stated that the victim, Ankit, left his home on Wednesday evening but did not return. Later that night, his family found his blood-soaked body in an empty plot near the village, news agency PTI reported.
Singh mentioned that the location where Ankit’s body was discovered is a known gathering spot for anti-social elements. The victim’s family has alleged murder, and based on a complaint by Ankit’s brother, Bobby, police have registered a case against unknown individuals.
Ankit's family also revealed that his grandmother had been hospitalised, and other family members were at the hospital, leaving Ankit alone at home. Further investigations into the case are underway, Singh said, according to PTI.
