A shocking video from a salon in Ghaziabad's Wave City has led to the arrest of a 24-year-old employee after he was allegedly caught on camera spitting into facial cream before applying it to a customer's face. The disturbing incident unfolded at Level Up salon, located in Sector 5 of Wave City, and quickly went viral on social media platforms on Sunday.

The 23-second video, possibly filmed by another customer or coworker, shows the accused man dispensing cream into his hand, then spitting on it before rubbing it on a client's face. The unsettling footage triggered swift action from both the public and law enforcement.

Police Act Swiftly After Video Surfaces

According to ACP Wave City Priyashri Pal, the police took action after initiating formal proceedings. "Taking cognisance of the video, a complaint was filed at the Wave City police station," she said. An FIR was registered under BNS Sections 271 and 272, which address negligent and malignant acts likely to spread infection of diseases dangerous to life.

Following the complaint, police scrutinised the video to identify the location and individual involved. The accused, Arshad Ali, was tracked to Aslam Colony in Dasna and taken into custody late Sunday night.

Newly Hired Employee Behind the Incident

Police further revealed that Ali had only joined the salon a week before the incident. 

Authorities are continuing their investigation and have not ruled out additional charges depending on the findings. Meanwhile, the salon has yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident or its internal response.
