The collision resulted in heavy traffic congestion on the expressway. Police arrived quickly at the scene to clear the obstruction. The injured individuals were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
2 Killed In Motorcycle, Tempo Collision Due To Fog In Ballia
Two people lost their lives in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a tempo due to dense fog, police said on January 24. The accident took place on the Ballia-Bansdih road on Thursday night when Shubham Soni (25), Manish Jaiswal (23), and Lav Jaiswal (22) were riding a motorcycle, while Shivam Verma (26) was driving a tempo, officials added.
After being alerted, police arrived at the scene and transported the injured to the district hospital, where doctors declared Shubham and Shivam dead on arrival. Manish and Lav were referred to Varanasi for advanced medical treatment, police stated. "The bodies have been sent for post-mortem," Bansdih Station House Officer Akhilesh Pandey said, India TV reported.
