Police said they have seized the car involved in the accident. A notice has been issued under Section 133 of the Motor Vehicles Act asking the vehicle's registered owner to appear for investigation.

An elderly couple died on Monday after being hit by a car in outer north Delhi's Swaroop Nagar. The couple was crossing the road below a foot over bridge when they were hit by a car. The accused, who brought the couple to the hospital, was arrested by the police later in the day.
