Fake Visa Operator Promised Journey To Poland via Dubai
The accused further disclosed that they got in touch with an agent named Param, who promised to facilitate their journey to Poland via Dubai in exchange for a fee of Rs 10 lakhs. They made payments of Rs 28,000 and Rs 1 lakh into a bank account provided by the agent, with the remaining amount paid in cash. The agent also assured them of securing jobs once they arrived in Poland.
The men stated that they handed their passports to Param, who arranged the counterfeit visas and travel tickets. However, upon reaching Dubai airport, their entry was denied due to the fake visas, and they were sent back to India.
Paramjeet Singh was eventually arrested in Delhi and revealed the identities of two accomplices, Udaypal and Tajinder, who were later apprehended in Hari Nagar and Rohini, respectively.
Udaypal had worked at a printing press in Narayana for several years, where he honed his printing skills. "He eventually started his own printing company but struggled financially. While working, he met agents who were involved in fraudulent visa schemes to send people abroad," the police said.
Tajinder contacted Udaypal, who created the counterfeit visas. "Udaypal admitted to creating a total of 11 fake visas at his company," police added.
