Delhi Airport Operations Remain Normal: Check Latest Advisory Here

The Delhi Airport also asked passengers to arrive early to allow for potential delays at security checkpoints and to cooperate with the airline and security staff for smooth facilitation.

Delhi International Airport Limited on Monday issued an advisory for flyers, saying that the airport operations continue to remain normal. However, the aiport has said that some flights may be impacted due to evolving airspace conditions and the heighetened security measures that have been put in place due to the tensions between India and Pakistan since May 7.

The advisory comes a day after nearly 100 flights to and from the Delhi airport were cancelled on Sunday. These included 52 domestic departures and 44 arrivals, and one international departure, news agency PTI reported.

"All operations at Delhi Airport continue as normal. However, due to evolving airspace conditions and enhanced security measures as directed by the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, some flight schedules may be impacted and security processing times could be longer," the advisory said.

Passengers have been advised to stay informed through updates from their respective airlines and follow hand baggage and check-in luggage regulations.
The airport also asked passengers to arrive early to allow for potential delays at security checkpoints and to cooperate with the airline and security staff for smooth facilitation.

"We urge all passengers to rely solely on official sources for accurate information and avoid sharing unverified content," the advisory further said.
