Clash Breaks Out After Alvida Jumma Namaz In UP's Bareilly, 6 Injured In Stone Pelting
A case has been registered against four persons out of which three have been arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Police. The injured were admitted to a hospital and are said to be in a stable condition.

A clash broke out between two groups of the same community on Friday in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly, leading to nearly half-a-dozen people getting injured.
The two groups clashed near a temple, which escalated into intense stone pelting, causing injuries to people involved in the violence. The incident's video went viral, and police have registered a case under relevant sections in the incident. A search operation has been launched to search those involved in the violent clash.
"Yesterday, on March 28, 2025, in village Mohri Kalan under Thana Bhuta, an altercation between two groups of the same community led to a physical clash. Police arrived promptly and found some individuals with minor and internal injuries," Circle Officer Ashutosh Shivam said.

The Circle Officer stated that the situation was under control in the region.

2 Cops Injured In Stone Pelting In UP's Mathura
In another incident of stone pelting in UP, two police constables were injured after being attacked in Mathura during their survey of a site following a recent gambling incident, PTI reported citing officials.
Reinforcements from multiple police stations were sent to the Nikasa locality and the situation was brought under control.
Superintendent of Police (Rural) Trigun Bisen said that Sub-Inspector Sandeep Singh and three constables reached Nikasa to survey the location where some individuals had been caught gambling a few days ago.
"While they were conducting their investigation, a crowd gathered and began pelting stones at their vehicle, injuring constables Niklesh and Ankit," he said.
Additional police rushed to the site after the attack, causing the attackers to flee.
"A case was registered later that night, he said. Station House Officer Ajit Singh stated that CCTV footage is being reviewed to identify the culprits. So far, the suspects have been found absconding from their homes. Police forces have been deployed in the area to maintain order," the officer added.
