5 Killed After Mini Bus Collides With Stationary Truck In Karnataka

In an accident in the early hours of Saturday, five people lost their lives and several others sustained injuries after a minibus collided with a parked truck near Nelogi Cross in Jewargi taluk of Kalaburagi district, Karnataka.

The incident occurred around 3:30 AM when the minibus, carrying devotees from Bagalkote district en route to a dargah in Kalaburagi, rammed into a stationary truck on the roadside. According to police, the truck had been parked on the left side of the road due to a flat tyre, and its driver was in the process of changing it when the bus crashed into the rear of the vehicle.

School Bus Carrying 30 Children Plunges Into Drain In Punjab

A school bus carrying children veered off the road and fell into a drain in the border district of Firozpur in Punjab on Saturday.

The vehicle was en route to school with around 30 children on board when it suddenly malfunctioned, causing it to plunge into a drain. Fortunately, the children sustained only minor injuries.

The accident took place near the village of Hasti Wala in Firozpur and the vehicle fell into the Sem drain. After the accident, local residents rushed to the scene and quickly helped in the rescue of the children from the bus. 

The bus driver said that the vehicle experienced an issue while driving, which led to the accident.
