The attack took place near the Bagha railway gate under the Lohia Nagar police station limits.

Murders In Bihar
There have been several murders in Bihar in the last few weeks. First, the murder of businessman Ashok Khemka drew attention. This was followed by the murder of a school operator and then that of a shopowner in Patna. On Monday, a lawyer, Jitendra Mahato, was gunned down.
On July 12, BJP leader Surendra Kewat was gunned down in Bihar's Sheikhpura district, barely a week after the brazen killing of Khemka in Patna. The 52-year-old BJP Kisan Morcha leader was shot multiple times by two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle. According to police, the attack occurred while Kewat was working in the fields. He was rushed to AIIMS Patna with four bullet injuries but succumbed to his wounds during treatment.
