Atul Subhash Suicide: Will Not Immerse His Ashes Till Justice Is Served, Says Techie's Father

Atul Subhash Suicide: Pawan Kumar Modi, the father of engineer Atul Subhash who died by suicide on December 9, said the family will not immerse his ashes till justice is served and strict punishment is given to those who "harassed" his son. The 34-year-old AI engineer left behind a 24-page note in which he blamed his wife Nikita Singhania and her parents for driving him to suicide.
"All those who harassed my son should be punished so that he gets justice, and his soul rests in peace. I will not immerse the ashes of my son till we get justice,” Pawan Kumar said. He added, "My son was being harassed and tortured for money, and humiliated by his wife... I request Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all concerned… please give us justice."

Giving details about the arrests, DCP Whitefield, Shiv Kumar, said, "The accused Nikita Singhania was arrested near the Blossom Stayz pg in Gurugram. Accused Nisha Singhania and Anurag Singhania, were arrested near Hotel Rameshwaram in Prayagraj, UP. They were brought to Bengaluru and produced before the judge and have been remanded to judicial custody...Multiple teams were sent to multiple places..."

Meanwhile, a senior official from Prayagraj police told PTI that the Bengaluru Police did not inform them about the arrest of Nisha Singhania and Anurag Singhania.
Nikita along with her family members had filed anticipatory bail pleas in the Allahabad High Court. The pleas came after the Bengaluru Police on Friday issued a summons to Nikita Singhania and asked her to appear before it within three days.
