Another Shocker In UP: Man Killed By Wife, Her Lover 15 Days After Wedding
All three accused — 22-year-old Pragati Yadav, her lover Anurag alias Manoj, and contract killer Ramji Chaudhary — have been arrested.

After the bone-chilling murder of a merchant navy officer in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut, another similar incident has left shockwaves in the state. In the Auraiya district, a woman and her lover killed her husband just 15 days after their wedding.
The accused hired a contract killer to kill the 25-year-old man. All three accused — 22-year-old Pragati Yadav, her lover Anurag alias Manoj, and contract killer Ramji Chaudhary — have been arrested after their identity was disclosed on the basis of CCTV camera footage.
Sahar SHO Pankaj Mishra told PTI that the police received information about a man lying injured in a field on March 19. He was admitted to the community health centre in Bidhuna and his family members were informed. The victim was later moved to Saifai Hospital and subsequently to Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh and then to Agra.
His condition worsened, following which his family admitted him to a hospital in Auraiya on March 20. However, he died on the night of March 21.
Meerut Merchant Navy Officer's Murder
Just a few days back, merchant navy officer Saurabh Rajput was murdered by his wife Muskan Rastogi and her lover Sahil Shukla. The body had been cut up and hidden in a drum, covering it with cement.
Saurabh had three wounds on his chest, with additional knife marks noted on his wrist and neck. The body, which was 14 days old, had decomposed, complicating the investigation.
Muskan and Sahil misled the victim's family by sending messages from his phone while vacationing in Himachal Pradesh.
The crime came to light on March 18, leading to their arrest.
The couple got married in 2016 despite opposition from his family, following a relationship, and had a six-year-old daughter. According to the police, Muskan and Sahil had known each other since school and reconnected through a WhatsApp group in 2019.
