Maruti Suzuki Sales Growth: Sales of utility cars, such as the Vitara Brezza, S-Cross, and Ertiga, increased to 32,574 units from 18,459 in the same month last year.

Maruti Suzuki India, the largest automaker in the nation, revealed on Saturday that total wholesale sales increased by two times to 1,76,306 units in September. Despite a severe lack of electronic parts, the business was still able to ship 86,380 units in September 2021.

According to a statement from Maruti Suzuki India (MSI), the company's domestic sales last month more than doubled to 1,54,903 units from 68,815 units in September 2021. According to the corporation, exports increased to 21,403 units from 17,565 units in the same month last year.

Last month's passenger vehicle sales were boosted by the holiday shopping season and new product introductions, resulting in sales growth for India's major automakers compared to the same month last year. It should be noted that significant OEMs in India, such as Hyundai, Tata, and Toyota, are also experiencing sales growth, reports Zee News.

Hyundai India reported a 38% increase in sales in September, selling 63,201 units. In September 2021, the automaker had delivered 45,791 units to its dealers.
