TVS has launched its premium electric scooter X and it is priced from Rs 2.5 lakh. The X is a radical styled scooter with lots of premium features. The talking point is a 4.4 kWh battery pack with an IDC range of 140km You can charge the battery via a home rapid charger with a 0-50 percent charge in under an hour.

There is also a portable charger which will charge in under 5 hours. The electric scooter has a peak power of 11kw and has a top speed of 105km/h. There are three riding modes on offer: Xtealth, Xtride and Xonic.

In terms of features the scooter gets single channel ABS and a huge 10.25inch touchscreen with loads of features like Bluetooth, video playback plus cruise control and hill hold function. The massive screen offers loads of customisation options in terms of wallpapers and layout of the icons. Elsewhere the screen also has a tilting function which is also unheard of in this segment.

The styling is very concept like and quite aggressive while it also gets a split seat layout. The frame is new and it gets a XLETON platform and an aluminium frame.

The X is the most expensive and premium electric scooter but also gets premium features while it does miss out on Fame subsidies.

This is an interesting new scooter from TVS and brings something new to the table in terms of its design or features while it borrows heavily from a past TVS concept too.
