With the onset of monsoons and heavy rainfall, SUVs are seen as necessary for tackling flooded roads. However, most SUVs are also not capable of serious water wading, and only a few manage to do so. Here are the top SUVs which can do the highest amount of water wading. However, do note that it is best to use caution while wading through water also.

Land Rover Defender

The highest rated water wading capacity comes in the form of the Land Rover Defender which comes with a huge 900mm capacity and that is the highest among all SUVs in India. The Defender is a capable off-roader and comes with an advanced 4x4 system and along with that a whole host of off-road features which help. That said, you can raise the car, and the ground clearance plus the design enables it to be the best SUV to have during monsoons, budget permitting!

Jeep Wrangler
