Tata To Showcase Nexon iCNG And EV Dark Edition At Bharat Mobility Global Expo

With the two new trims, the Nexon would turn up as the model with the widest available range in Tata’s portfolio.

At the inaugural Bharat Mobility Global Expo, Tata Motors will showcase two new variants of the Nexon including the CNG and the Dark edition of its EV. The Nexon is currently its best selling car and was also the best selling car of last month. With these two new trims, the Nexon is now having the widest range available. The Nexon iCNG would be currently shown as a concept and has its turbo petrol powertrain along with the twin cylinder CNG technology used on other CNG cars too. Hence, it is the first turbo petrol CNG and gets two tanks to not compromise on the boot space.

The CNG tank is placed under the floor to maximise space and also remove the biggest issue with CNG cars. Like the other CNG cars from Tata, it has a single ECU and has a direct start in CNG mode as well. The other new car would be the Nexon EV Dark edition. The new Nexon EV is also the best seller in terms of EVs in India and now the new version also has a Dark Edition.
