Toyota Vellfire: Most Expensive MPV Launched In India For Rs 1.2 Crore
Toyota Vellfire: The earlier generation model was under Rs 1 crore and now prices start at Rs 1.19 crore and stretch all the way to Rs 1.3 crore.
Toyota Vellfire: Toyota has launched the new Vellfire in India shortly after its worldwide unveil and it is now much more expensive than the earlier generation Vellfire. The earlier generation model was under Rs 1 crore and now prices start at Rs 1.19 crore and stretch all the way to Rs 1.3 crore. There are two trims on offer- Hi and VIP. The VIP comes with the Executive Lounge package too. This is the new generation model and comes with new exteriors and interiors.
The front-end is all new and has a huge new grille with slimmer LED lamps while the basic shape has been maintained. It is not too large from the earlier model and Toyota has maintained that it is 5,000-milimetre or less in length, and 1,850 mm or less in width. Toyota has also increased the space between the front and the second row seats plus a more luxurious cabin.
The interior has a super-long overhead console where it enables occupants in any seat to open windows on the opposite side of the vehicle and to adjust the lighting. Moreover, as the door opens a step emerges approximately 220 mm above ground, lowering the height of the first step for passengers.
It also has a moonroof which uses independently operable right and left-side shades, which means passengers either see the sky or block the sunlight. More vehicle controls at the front are also now kept on the 14-inch touchscreen rather than physical controls. As always the massive seats are extremely comfortable and have Ottomans too. Tech included connected car technology and ADAS features. The new Vellfire is based on the TNGA-K platform and is hybrid only with a 2.5-litre petrol hybrid powertrain with 19.2 kmpl mileage.
