In terms of positioning the Jimny is below the Grand Vitara and joins the Brezza and the Fronx in being the third sub-4m SUV from Maruti Suzuki. In terms of rivals, the Jimny will mainly compete with the Mahindra Thar however, the Thar comes in a 3-door form while the Jimny is obviously a 5-door. We have driven the Jimny and have said that it is an immensely talented off-roader while also being compact enough for everyday use along with a decent feature list.
