Kia's BIG Offer! Buy A Car And Return It In 30 Days Of Purchase
Private buyers can return the Carnival if they are not pleased with it after 30 days from the purchase date. Kia says that it will cover 95% of the ex-showroom cost and overhead cost incurred for the registration and finances, etc.
Kia India has launched a unique scheme where you can return one of its cars after 30 days of buying it. Called the ‘Satisfaction Guarantee Scheme’ this is for the first time that such a scheme is being offered with a new car sold in India. This currently applies to the Kia Carnival and all of its variants only.
That said, under this scheme, private buyers can return the Carnival if they are not pleased with it after 30 days from the purchase date. Kia says that it will cover 95% of the ex-showroom cost and overhead cost incurred for the registration and finances, etc. of the vehicle. However, there are some conditions for eg, ensuring that the car has not done more than 1500 km and is free from damages, failures, pending claims, etc.
Also, the owner's agreement for the transfer of the vehicle including all documentation and charges would also need to be in place. Of course, it is also imperative that the vehicle is free from any HP and the NOC should be submitted from the financier's end. The Carnival is a luxury MPV and till now has done sales of 6,200 units. It is offered with three trims – Premium, Prestige, and Limousine with multiple seating configurations of 7, 8, and 9.
The most luxurious version is the Limousine with features such as captain seats, extendable leg rests, rear-seat entertainment, and more. It also gets powered sliding doors and a whole host of other equipment. The car is offered with a diesel engine in India along with a standard automatic gearbox. Prices start at Rs 24.9 lakh and go all the way to Rs 33.9 lakh. This is surely an interesting way to get further customer interest and you can basically take a 'long test drive' for 30 days and get 95 percent of the value (ex-showroom) back, if you do not like it, that is!
