Tata & Hyundai To Launch Their SUVs In Budget Segment, Learn More About Price & Features
Many companies are preparing to introduce SUVs in the budget segment in near future, including Tata Motors and Hyundai.
New Delhi: For some time now, there is a craze for SUV cars in India. People prefer cars in the SUV segment due to their enhanced ability to maneuver on Indian roads. Hence, carmakers are bringing multiple SUV options in the market, to take care of customers' preferences.
Many companies are preparing to introduce SUVs in the budget segment in near future, including Tata Motors and Hyundai. Let's find out which of their SUVs can be launched in the market.
Tata Punch: Tata Motors recently announced that the company will launch its mini SUV Punch during the festive season. According to Tata, Punch is based on the H2X platform. The company introduced it at the Auto Expo-2020. The company said the Punch will be introduced by Diwali this year. Though not many details are revealed, the interiors of the SUV are believed to be similar to Tata Altroz. The company said that Tata Punch will be a powerful SUV that can be taken anywhere. The price of this car can range from Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 7.5 lakh.
Tata HBX: Tata Motors may also launch its most awaited micro SUV HBX soon. This SUV may be launched in the market at a price of around Rs 5 lakh. The look of Tata HBX will be similar to Tata Nexon and Tata Harrier. It will have LED DRL projector handlamps as Harrier. The Signature Tri Arrow design is seen on the front grille and the air dam of this micro SUV will be similar to that of the Tata Nexon. The Tata HBX may look small, but it is a powerful car. This car can have some features of Tata Altroz such as a touch screen infotainment system, multi-function steering wheel, and instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity.
Hyundai Casper: Apart from Tata Motors, South Korean company Hyundai can also launch its micro SUV Casper. According to reports, the company is likely to launch Casper in South Korea next month, after which it could also be launched in India. Hyundai's micro SUV will be introduced in the market with two engine options, the 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, and a new 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The naturally aspirated engine will generate power of around 76bhp.
