Aston Martin DB12 Launched In India With More Aggressive Looks And Powerful Specs — See Pics

The new DB12 gets a 4.0 Twin-Turbo V8 engine which delivers 671bhp and 800Nm- which is more powerful than the DB11 along with the engine being overhauled for better response. 

Aston Martin has launched its new supercar or super tourer as it calls in India.The new DB12 is the replacement for the DB11 which previously remained the flagship GT in the Aston Martin range. The new DB12 gets a 4.0 Twin-Turbo V8 engine which delivers 671bhp and 800Nm- which is more powerful than the DB11 along with the engine being overhauled for better response.

There is an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard and it also gets an Electronic Rear Differential (E-Diff). There are other changes to the suspension and the steering too.

Design-wise, the new DB12 is much more aggressive now with being wider along with a larger grille. There are new LED lights as well as forged 21-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, there is a bigger change with more luxury and a modern look with added technology. There is a new infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto along with a 10.25-inch screen. That said, it is not all touch controls as major functions like gear selection, drive selection, heating, and ventilation are all physical buttons.

Standard is also a 390w 11 speaker audio system while optional is a Bowers & Wilkins. Being a GT, the DB12 has a good amount of luggage space and is easy to get in and out with a comfortable supercar that you can use every day.

Being an Aston Martin you can customize it with various options too. The new DB12 is priced at Rs 4.59 crore ex-showroom.

Currently, Aston Martin has the DBX which its most popular car overseas and for the Indian market along with the DBX 707 which is the faster iteration while there is the Vantage also.
