Twarit Mukhya: Greater Noida building collapse: 3 dead, 2 rescued alive; 35 feared trapped

Two under-construction buildings collapsed in Greater Noida's Shah Beri village on Tuesday night. As per the report, three dead bodies have been recovered till now, while two people have been rescued alive. Several people are still feared trapped under the debris. Four National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams have been deployed for the rescue operations. It has been learned that around 30 to 35 people are buried under the debris of the collapsed illegal buildings in Greater Noida. The NDRF team said that there is less hope of survival of people trapped under debris.

According to the local people, there were about 10-12 families living in the buildings which was completely constructed, while the other building was under construction, in which the workers were working. Till last night, the NDRF retrieved two male dead bodies from the debris. The area falls under Bisrakh police station limits in Greater Noida.
