Rakhi Sawant says 'lesbian Tanushree Dutta raped me several times'

Bollywood actor Tanushree Dutta, whose allegations of sexual harassment against Nana Patekar opened the pandora box of #MeToo movement in India, has now been accused of sexual harassment too. On Wednesday, Rakhi Sawant conducted a press conference in Mumbai where she accused Tanushree Dutta of raping her. Rakhi said, “I was repeatedly raped by Tanushree Dutta. Tanushree is not a girl. She is the boy from the inside. She is a lesbian. People are talking about #MeToo. Now, I want #SheToo to happen.” She also said that Tanushree was her best friend and she used to take her to parties.

During the press conference, Rakhi claimed that the incident happened 12 years ago when she had gone to Tanushree’s house where she was raped by her. She also said that she has evidence for the same but refused to disclose the name the people.

Rakhi, who got fame in Bollywood from item numbers, also she said that she is getting calls threatening her with murder and gang-rape. She said “I am ashamed of saying such things but today I feel even I should come out in open and say that I have been raped several times but I am afraid of revealing the name as I am getting calls threatening me with murder and gang-rape.

Dressed in bright pink-orange coloured saree, Rakhi alleged “I have filed a police complaint against it though. 12 years ago Tanushree Dutta has raped me. I never wanted to say this but today I am revealing it.” In the press conference, she also threatened Tanushree by saying that she will go to the court. She said, “I will tell in court and tell what you did to my private parts and where you touched me."

During the press conference, she also defended Ganesh Acharya, Alok Nath and Anu Malik who have also been accused of sexual harassment by women. She also alleged that Tanushree Dutta is getting money to promote the #Metoo movement.
