Why India's diplomacy in Samarkand is important for America ?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has issued a statement ahead of his visit to Uzbekistan. In this statement issued by the PMO, the PM said that I will visit Samarkand at the invitation of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to attend the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). The heads of state of China, Pakistan and Russia are also attending the SCO summit.
